Since their missions will exclude participation by the Dark Angels lower companies, they will often deploy the Lion's Fangs to gain control of the skies.
Unleashing a devastating storm of alpha class air superiority missiles, the Lion's fangs gain near-immediate coverage of mission critical airspace. After the Deathwing have completed their mission, the Lion's Fangs are swiftly retrieved by the Dark Angels Second Company, if possible.
These revered missile systems have been part of the Deathwing Armory since the Horus Heresy, and are considered as precious as the Deathwing's suits of terminator armor. In cases in which the Second Company was not able to immediately retrieve them, 3rd and 4th Company Astartes have been dispatched to focus purely on the retrieval of these ancient machine spirits.
