Directly adjacent to the hover rail promethium dock stands the Imperial tithe office, prepared to carefully assess the volume of any imports and exports.
The grimy base coat of the imperial buildings started with an airbrush base of Citadel Ushabti Bone Air, followed by my home brew acrylic black wash. After the wash, the edges were dry brushed with an acrylic egg shell color, followed by sponge painted damage along the edges using Citadel Rhinox Hide. Finally a thinned wash of burnt umber oil paint was applied randomly into the details, and then blended with a dry brush.
The hover train was constructed from some spare sector mechanicus terrain and the Dark Angels space marine flyer cockpit and small parts. The paint scheme largely followed the other yellow details, but with a bit more care and the addition of some simple decals.
The hover train approaches the station from the subterranean rail passage.
