Among the ashes at the final destruction of the forges of Diamat, a lone Reaver class titan was recovered by mechanicum factions still loyal to the Emperor of Mankind. As was His wish, through the edicts set forth by Malcador, a secret forge was founded to give new life to these fallen engines during the desperation of the Age of Darkness.
Portat Vinculux was one of the first titans reforged and given the Phoenix's Rebirth to join the ranks of the Legio Phasmatis. What dark voices haunt the machine spirit of this ancient engine are known only to the most senior princeps of the Legio. While many of the Legio's princeps have attempted to tame The Chain Bearer, only few have survived to tell of the darkness that lies within this ancient machine.
Armed with the heaviest of ranged weapons, Portat Vinculux excels at ranged assaults in support of fellow titan of the Legio: Ira Deorum. In many a battle, the Chain Bearer's furious hell and atomic sunfire have been the last dying memories of the enemies of the Imperium.
When the Legio Phasmatis walks, the battle wails of Portat Vinculux are portents of doom.
