Perrux Carnor: The Hell Hound of the Legio Phasmatis

The rebirth of a fallen titan was rarely successful, and of those that were reborn to the Legio Phasmatis, the legends of Perrux Carnor would live for 10,000 years in infamy.

The Sigilite was fully aware of the risk involved in reclaiming, re-awakening, and reviving ancient God-Machines, yet the risk of losing even the slightest advantage against the arch-traitor was at its highest during the decade before the Siege of Terra. Thus, the Sigilite secretly initiated his project known to no one but himself and his direct subordinates: the Legio Phasmatis. Whether it would ever come to be known that his hand was the driving force behind this near tech-heresy, the Sigilite cared not. History would only record the victors, and so such machine-necromancy seemed of little consequence in the grand scheme of the Emperor's Plan.

In the time that followed the Siege of Terra, Perrux Carnor would amass a remarkable record of engine kills, often with savagery unlike any other among the Legio. According to several princeps of the engine, the machine spirit of the 'Hell Hound' was not to be mastered. Too much of Perrux Carnor's previous incarnation as a member of an unrecorded traitor legion remained.

While the Legio Phasmatis still serves as a loyal - although small - legion of the Adeptus Titanicus, by M41, record of Perrux Carnor was fully lost to history.  Numerous legends within the Legio speak cryptically of Carnor's fate. One tale, though uncorroborated by any known imperial record, speaks of mutiny on the battle field in late M31. Another tale speculates that Perrux Carnor was an experimental project of the Council of the Viatrix, one that aimed to emulate the psi-titans of the Ordo Sinister. What is known is that by M41, Perrux Carnor's name was expunged from the Legio Phasmatis honour roll, and its fate remains unknown - at least according to any official records.
