When the Legio Phasmatis is driven to war, the mighty Engines of the Omnissiah don't walk alone. Every warlord titan of the Legio Phasmatis includes a crew of more than a dozen servitors, tech-priests, advisors, and princeps. In addition to this skeleton crew, the gray-robed Skitarii supporting the Legio Phasmatis defend the God Machines from the threats of saboteurs and assassins.
The Titan Guard of Legio Phasmatis are known to be excellent marksmen, and they can easily end any threat made by infantry heavy weapons or small improvised explosives.
As the most common tactic of the Legio is surprise assaults and daring drop ship landings behind enemy lines, it is often left to the Titan Guard to act as rearguard, carefully securing any breaches in the enemies defensive lines. In a recent engagement of Ira Deorum, it was the two martian marksmen that slowed a rear assault by several heavily armed assault tanks of the Black Legion traitor legions. The battle ended in terrible losses for the Titan Guard, but their sacrifice allowed Ira Deorum to reign supreme over the scorched and alien battlefields.
Seeing infantry on the titan really instilled a sense of scale. This is really great!
