'Their sole concentration is the art of destruction and the embodiment of that power within their own vastly augmented body, in which little organic remains.'
- remembrancer Alan Bligh opining on the character and merits of the Myrmidon priests.
Ziaxus Ziaaxus 6 was the master of a small empire of cybernetic automata. The masters of such empires - the 'Learned Ones' - were lords both temporal and spiritual whose power was that of life and death in their own domains.
How Ziaxus Ziaaxus 6 came to be the primary overseer of the infamous warlord titan Ira Deorum of the Legio Phasmatis is still unknown. It has been recorded recently that his closest subordinates, many of whom have accompanied him for ages unknown, have often referred to him as Revered-Comptroller Ziaxus Ziaaxus 6, suggesting ancient links to the stubbornly independent and once majestic forge world of Phaeton.
Without question Ziaxus Ziaaxus 6 is a master of warfare, having been the shepherd to his mysterious flock over several millennia of imperial and mechanicum records, his name and accolades even appearing in ancient records of the first expedition fleets of the Great Crusade. Whether his name and credentials have been adopted or handed down to some new form - or if in fact his highly augmented form has evolved without ceasing for millennia - remains a mystery.
Rest in Peace Alan, you and your craft will be missed.
